MMM BURGERS I ate them and they were delicious. I got there right at 11:02 too so it was fresh.
At what time can I drive to McDonald's and not have to deal with the breakfast menu? I just want some $1 burgers. It's 10:31 a.m. right now.
Also: how were your evenings? I think I fell asleep and then anon went crazy. I had weird dreams, too.

Hey guys,
So here's my issue. If you can, try to refrain from calling me insane. I already am!
I went to see my boyfriend in may and we had sex from may 1-8. On may 1, he ejaculated inside me, but for the rest of the week, he pulled out. In addition, may was my second month on alesse and I didn't miss a pill and took it at approximately the same time everyday. May 8th, the day I left, was my second day of the placebo week.
Now, when my placebo week was over, I missed a pill or 2 during the month, but always made it up, which may be the reason why my "period" that month was a couple days late and a bit lighter than usual, but I still got worried.
I tested anyway, for piece of mind, on June 16th. I think I peed on the stick too long because the control (?) line didn't come up. Only one line in the test window showed up. I looked at it about 2 hours later again, when a went to throw it out, and there were 2 lines in the test window and no control line. I know it's not valid after 10 minutes, so I tested again the next morning. With the second test, control line showed immediately and only one line in the test area showed.
The next day, I think, I got my period right on time.
I'm on vacation now, and I got my period on time as well, with cramps and all. Still on the pill also.
I know chances are slim, but WHY can't I shake this paranoia?! And I'm starting to think this paranoia is my woman instincts and it's making me even more paranoid! Should I test again when I get home tomorrow?! I'm overseas in Israel right now.
I really need some piece of mind. It's driving me nuts.

I got a free ticket to see Fall Out Boy tonight after work, so I went along with a group of friends from work...but I thought they sucked, so I left after a couple of songs. Am I hopelessly old and no fun at all, or do they actually just suck?
ETA: The next concert at work that there will probably be free tickets for will be Linkin Park. Do they suck too?

While watching Gilmore Girls on ABC Family yesterday a commercial for a new TV movie called Labor Pains.
From what I could tell it was about a girl (played by Lindsay Lohan) that was having money problems and was working a dead end job. She was worried that if she loses the said job she'll have no way of supporting herself. So when the boss tells her she's fired to save her job she tells him she's pregnant when she's really not. It goes on to show that she continues the lie about being pregnant. She fakes the belly, has a baby shower and is seen getting gifts. It also show the main character's friend/sister telling her to come clean about her lie but the main character doesn't want to because "she's a better person pregnant".
I'm going to try watching this like the plague but I'll likely end up watching it if only to see how long I can go without wanting to throw something at the TV.

why can I not get a video from photobucket to work on lj? I am not too familiar with embedded codes, so maybe it is something obvious. but why will my video from photobucket not work on lj?
It just posts as a blank entry and when I go to edit it, the content is gone.

Are there any free places that you like to visit, either with someone or by yourself?
Personally I could spend hours in a bookstore like a lot of people. There's also this petting farm in my town that I like to go to with my son and I also really like going to fish/pet stores. I enjoy our farmers markets but they're always early in the morning so I never get to go! Free evening stuff seems harder to come by.

I'm starting my placebo pills for Ortho-Cyclen today. This is my first pack.
All while I was on the hormones, I had some tough side affects. I couldn't a pill without food, and normally had to take it with a big meal to avoid feeling sick. Even doing that, I'd still get sick like...three hours later. Just reading would give me motion sickness...and I was sitting at home! Made it really hard to use my computer. I considered it kind of lucky I'm laid off from work, as I was sick enough that I would have had to call in a few times.
I've also been having horrible mood swings. I'd be depressed and miserable, then kind of feel empty, then fly into a horrible rage over something random. Like, a rage that I wanted to smash and break things. The depression isn't what I need in my current situation...over two months unemployed and running out of money to pay rent, etc. No motivation or drive to look harder for jobs. Feeling like I just want to give up. Not suicidal, but I worry it will get to that. I have a family history of depression, I've been treated for it in the past and in my teenage years I was suicidal. I don't want to go down that road again, but I was riding the emotional roller coaster every day I was taking the pill.
On the last like...three days on the hormones, the depression and rage was getting a little better. A little more tolerable. Still stomach upsets through the day, though. Having to eat enough food to not get sick is still kind of a hassle. I wonder if I should try going through another pack and see if my body keeps adjusting, or if I should call my doctor's office about switching to a different kind of pill. I opted for the pill as I wasn't comfortable sticking something in me with Nuvaring, and like the Patch, you have to go without for week, and I worry I'm going to forget to start a new one on time.
I'm a little hesitant to go back to this clinic, but I live in a rural area and it's the only place I can go to for low-cost care. I do qualify for PA's Select Plan for Women, but for some reason I was rejected when they insist I qualify. I spent the past two weeks playing phone tag with the office just over this. I called them early in my pack to ask some questions about the pills I was on, and the woman there was real short with me and just snapped "You have to be using back-up methods on the first pack!" and didn't really let me explain what my concerns were, or let me say that I hadn't had sex at all at the time.
Long story short: I don't know if I should try sticking it out on Ortho-Cyclen and see if things improve. I worry that other hormonal methods will do the same thing or make things worse.

I'm scheduling a doctor's appointment on Monday (calling the moment they open, really), but I'd love some opinion.
I got what I figured was textbook yeast infection - began with itching on the labia, the "balled toilet paper" look on my external bits and then a couple hours later, that tell-tale clumpy white discharge (not smelly at all). I did a round of Monistat 3 with the external vulvar cream. When that didn't exactly clear it up, I tried garlic and I've been eating yogurt like crazy. Well, now the discharge seems to have stopped but the itching and the white on my vulva are still there (the white starts as a film but sort of balls up if I run a finger across it). And I'm not sure if it's from the irritation of scratching (*guilty of scratching the itch*), but now there are some bumps on both sides of my clitoral hood that I'm worried in a worst case scenario might be HPV. They are less in a clump, though, and more in a line following my labia like little peaky mountains.
I did have unprotected sex with a sort of sketch partner two weeks ago and again last week, and so I will be getting a full STD test including HIV (he's bisexual and was in prison, so now I'm absolutely terrified I'll be HIV positive) when I go to the doctor, but do those bumps sound like HPV? How can I control the external YI? The external vulvar cream really doesn't help. Everything is itchy and puffy and red and generally very unhappy.

Two witnessed sucks about you guessed it ID cards. NB- I live in South Korea where black marketing is a HUGE issue
Scene One: Commissary
Dear Asshat.
Before you even come into the Commissary there is a sign that says "ALL CUSTOMERS MUST SHOW ID" as you enter there is a sign that says "ALL CUSTOMERS MUST SHOW ID" so why dear asshat did you decide to throw a fit when you and your "wife" were asked for an ID? You had yours like your required to. She is required to have her ID and ration card for the Commissary- you know- that card you would have had to get for her when you first arrived in Korea or after you were married? If you lived on post you could have run home in under five minutes and gotten it and if you lived off post it should have dawned on you you would have needed it when you were signing your "wife" in at the gate- you know- where they ALSO check ID cards. Next time you want to take you "wife" shopping take her someplace where they are more lax about ID cards- like the Shoppette.
PS- You also would have needed it at the registers :)
Scene Two- PX
So about two weeks ago Always and Forever Exploiting Soldiers enacted a policy whereby ALL customers had to have their ID cards scanned at the register when making a purchase. I guess enough people bitched about items walking out the store and down to the corner markets. There are signs ALL OVER THE PLACE, they started it at the Shoppette near the PX about five weeks prior to work out the kinks and to get people used to it, and they have had stories about it on both AFN and Stars and Stripes. Oh, and it is briefed when you inprocess the post. You literally have to be dead to not know this is going on- so why dear customer did you feel it necessary to not only bitch and cuss out the cashier when she asked you for your ID but then proceed to throw your money at her? Really? You have to be at least 50 yet you're acting like a 5 year old. Yes, you had to show your ID at the door. That meant you are allowed to ENTER the building like at every other PX/BX/NEX you have probably ever been at in your career. Grow up. It was one thing to be put off by the new policy but you deserved to be smacked upside the head for throwing your money at the cashier.
